CrazyTalk now offers the useful feature of exporting your model and animation scripts to various types of multimedia formats. CrazyTalk now supports AVI, Real Media (RM), BMP, WAV, TGA, Sequence BMPs, Animation GIF and Windows Media (WMV) files.
Note: If you want to export WMV file format from CrazyTalk, you need to install WMVEncoder9 first from the Microsoft website.
To export media, do the following:
Select a CrazyTalk model for your media file and specify its facial features, type of motion, expressions, etc.
Create a CrazyTalk script to specify the animation and speech for the media file.
Click the Media tab under Output to start exporting to multimedia.
A crop box is displayed on the model. Using the moving tools, move it over the image to decide which portion of the image is exported. Resize the box to specify the output frame size. You can also resize the cropping frame using the Output Size option.
Scroll through the Format drop-down box to select the output media format. Various formats such as AVI, RM (Real Media streaming format), WMV (Windows Media), Sequence Image (BMP or TGA), Animation Gif or audio (WAV) are available.
Check the Export Timeline Clip if you want to export the selected part of the timeline to media format.
Check the Original Resolution option if you want to retain the same resolution as the source file.
Check the Target option if you want to specify your own target resolution. Select the required resolution from the drop-down box. You can set the resolution for DVD or VCD with PAL or NTSC formats as well as select various other resolutions for Windows media formats.
Check the No Crop option if you want to display the complete talking image without any cropping from the sides.
Check the Crop option if you want to crop talking image on the sides.
Click the Background Color box to select the background from the color palette.
Specify the dimensions of the output frame by entering the height and width in pixels under Output Size.
Enter the frame rate in frames per second in the Frame Rate box.
The HTML options are available if you select a RM or WMV file from the media format.
Check the Produce HTML Page to create an HTML page with the media content (RM and WMV format only) embedded in the file. The HTML file is saved in the same location as the media file.
Check the Preview HTML Page to preview the HTML page before exporting.
Click the Export button to export the selected talking image to multimedia format. Specify the name and location of the exported file and click Save when done.
