Creating Characters for Front and Side Motions
After producing a character, via the Actor Creator,
you may sometimes need to add more elements by applying either front or side motion presets.
Adding More Elements
In CrazyTalk Animator, motions are divided into front motions and side motions. Each character must have the correct front or side motions applied, in order to guarantee the best results.

To make characters suitable for motions, please follow the steps below:
-
Prepare two images (PNG format with alpha channel is
suggested), one is for the side pose and the other is for the front pose.
-
Select the character and click the Character Composer button to switch to the Character Composer Mode.
-
Select the body part that twists and click the Sprite Editor button.
-
Load the two prepared images into the sprite editor. Please note that you MUST load them in a specific order, as described in the illustration below:
-
1: The cell for the front image.
-
2: The cell for the side image.
-
The position, size and angle of the loaded images may not be correct.
-
Adjust the transform of the two loaded images as described above.
-
The Front Image: You must switch to the Front Pose in order to change the character to the front pose for adjusting.
-
The Side Image: You must switch to the Side Pose in order to change the character to the side pose for adjusting.
-
Click the Back to Stage button to update the character.
The adjusted body parts will now be able to receive any kind of motions without presenting flaws.
