Image Scale and Unit System

The Image Scale

Each image-based CrazyTalk Animator character is well-designed so that you always see the best visual quality of the body parts even if you zoom in to a specific body part. However, your custom character may encounter a resolution issue as you zoom in the camera if the image you have prepared does not follow the standards provided by Reallusion below.

Reallusion Standards - Image Size

The Reallusion Standards for image sizes ensure the visual quality for each character and its body parts. Hence, the quality is always optimized even if you zoom into a specific body part.

  • A - Actor Head Size: 750 x 750 square pixels (at least).
  • B - Actor Body Size: 1000 x 1000 square pixels (at least).
  • C - Actor Hand Size: 200 x 200 square pixels (at least).

Tip: The best practice for an image-based character creation is to take head photo and body photo separately, which will help to provide better image resolution for the head and body.
